Test project for learning purposes 

The intention of this project is to get more acquainted with creating and implementing a player character/assets into engine and setting up a day/night cycle system.

Modeled/rigged/animated in blender and set up animations in UE.

Modeled assets in blender and set up materials/shaders in UE.

  • Day and night system

Currently in development.

Goals and guidelines:

One master value that branches of, controlling most of the system.

Foliage interactability/esthetics affected by time of day.

Having values easily debugged, tweaked and previewed.

​

Building the system using curves rather than timelines, to have previews easily accessible in viewport and transitions more managable.
